Anime Ascendants Expired Codes Archive

This page is a graveyard on purpose. Every string below is historical. None of it belongs in a working-codes screenshot, a new-player checklist, or a video description dated 2026. If you came here because RELEASE or 10mil failed in the lobby, that is expected. Use the Codes Hub for strings community sites still listed in early September 2026, and use how to redeem for the NPC and button path.

Anime Ascendants launched on Roblox on 10 December 2023 as Special Anime Defense, then reworked into the live tower defense you play now. Codes from the first year were milestone drops (likes, visits, Discord members) and apology drops (delays, data issues, exploit cleanups). Almost all of those were retired as the rework landed and as later 2025–2026 events replaced the board.

Do not paste these hoping for a secret still-on switch. The redeem UI will tell you they are invalid or already used. That is the entire story.

Why Anime Ascendants codes expire

Promo codes are a patch instrument, not a permanent shop SKU. Staff turns them off when:

• The update they advertised already shipped (RELEASE, RELEASEASC, DELAYASC).
• A like / visit / Discord milestone is done (10mil, 30klikes, 100k!, 50KDiscord!).
• An apology window closes (Sorry!, DataFix!, ServerAttack!).
• A holiday or collab event ends (HW12, later winter and Easter strings).
• The game changes identity. Special Anime Defense codes were not kept as a loyalty museum after the Ascendants rework.

Expiration is per code, not per reward type. A dead RELEASE does not mean Gems as a currency went away. It only means that particular string will never grant again on any account that missed it.

If you started in 2026, you did not “lose” 2024 codes in a bug. You missed a time-limited drop. The current blueberry and apology bundles on the Codes Hub are how the live game still hands out Gems, Tokens, Cubes, and Trait Rerolls.

Old Anime Ascendants codes that no longer work

2024 Special Anime Defense era (do not redeem)

These showed up on public lists while the experience was still widely called Special Anime Defense. Reward numbers are what contemporary guides printed. They are here so you can recognize a recycled screenshot, not so you can farm them.

Related 2024 strings you will still see in autoplay videos: 12K, 10kfavs, 8klikes, 50KDiscord!, 1MVISITS, Delay, Sorry!, DataFix!, Invaded!, 20K!, 90K!, Future!, ServerAttack!, GRINDING, ASCREWARD, EADELAYSORRY. All of them belong in the same bin: expired.

If a site still prints DELAYASC in a “working” table in 2026, the page is unmaintained. Close it. The Codes Hub is the live snapshot we are willing to keep honest, with a reported-as-of disclaimer.

2025 rework leftovers and early 2026 graves

After the rename, staff kept using all-caps apology and hype strings. Those also died. You will hit them in older “September 2025” or “December 2025” roundups:

Later 2026 event leftovers that already rotated off most live lists include winter and valentine drops, CCU celebrations, and collab teasers such as 1KCCU!, Valentine, ValentinesCapsules, RamadanKareem26, JJKCOMINGSOON!, TYFOR2KCCU!. If it is not on the current hub table, assume it is dead even when a thumbnail still has a fire emoji.

This archive is not a complete forensic dump of every string the game ever shipped. It is a recognition guide. When a YouTuber pastes a block of twenty codes and eighteen of them are in the tables above, skip the video and redeem from the hub instead.

Expired vs typo vs already claimed

Players mix these three errors because the lobby language is short.

Expired. The string used to work for someone, then staff turned it off. New accounts cannot claim it. Old accounts that already claimed it also cannot claim it again. This page is full of those.

Typo. Blueberry2! fails because the live code is BLUEBERRY2!. Happy 4th fails because of the space. That is not expiration. Fix the paste using the Codes Hub and how to redeem.

Already claimed. You (or someone on your Roblox account) succeeded in the past. Switching from mobile to desktop does not reset it. Creating a new Roblox account would, but that is a different save with no units — not a trick we recommend just to double-dip a 5k gem code.

A fourth case exists: wrong experience. Copycat anime TD places reuse similar lobby props. If your URL is not the Anime Ascendants place, even a live hub code can fail. Confirm you are in the real experience and, if you care about group status, the Anime Ascendants community (15762744).

The Trello board is not a live code list

The official-looking Trello still circulating under the Special Anime Defense name (y6xvORVA) went stale during the 2024 rework. Cards on that board can show units, old trait names, or codes that have been dead for years. Treat it as a museum label. The Trello link page on this wiki exists to say that out loud so you do not plan a 2026 account around a 2024 checklist.

Live communication is the Discord. Patch notes and event timing live under updates and events. Codes that survive a patch get merged onto the Codes Hub with the same “reported, not personally tested today” rule.

What to do instead of hunting graves

If you missed the 2024 milestone pile, you are not behind in a way a dead code can fix. Play story, learn a farm plus carry from getting started, and spend whatever live codes you can still claim on the unit you will actually place. Trait Rerolls from a current blueberry string are worth more than a hypothetical 500 Gems from RELEASE that will never return.

When a creator says “all codes in the description still work,” skim the description for Toadboigaming, Restock!, or EARLYACCESS. One hit means the description is a clone of a 2024 paste. Leave. Redeem from a dated hub, then go run a map.
