Anime Ascendants Trait planner (keep or reroll)

Role tables, token budgets, and a strict roll order — not a live spinner.

Trait Planner

This planner is a keep-or-reroll table for Anime Ascendants traits. It is not a live calculator and it does not spin Miki for you. Print the role column, spend Magic Tokens only on the units that still matter, and stop when the table says keep.

Anime Ascendants is a released Roblox tower defense with online 16-player servers on desktop and mobile. Traits attach to a specific unit and cannot be transferred. You can move stats; you cannot move Ascendant from a throwaway pull onto Sukuno. That is why the roll order below is strict: highest-rarity carry first, then farm Golden, then support Supernova.

If you have not found the vendor yet, read how to reroll traits. From the hub, enter the Summon room, turn right, and talk to Miki under the orange Traits sign. Each press of the pink Reroll button costs one Magic Token. Occasional summons spawn with a trait already attached — treat those as free rolls. Some units can land double or (rarely) triple traits; do not plan your economy around that.

Trait → best role → keep or reroll

Drop chances are approximate and can shift after a patch. Always confirm a new trait on the traits tier list and the official Discord before you dump a bank.

Token budget

Magic Tokens come from the shop, challenges, index milestones, the pass, and codes. They are slower to farm than Gems. Budget them like this:

  • 0–20 tokens: Only strip I-tier traits off the unit you actually place as carry. Do not touch farm or support yet.
  • 20–80 tokens: Lock Godspeed, Nimble III, or Strong III on the carry, then start hunting Golden on Bolma or Senko. A Golden farmer pays for every later upgrade.
  • 80–200 tokens: Carry hunting S-tier (Berserker, Supernova, Singularity). Farm should already be Golden or parked. Do not open a 100-token session on a legendary you will bench next week.
  • 200+ tokens: Support Supernova, then chase Ascendant on the single best carry you own. Never spend this bank on a C-tier kid unit because the colour looked nice.

If a code dump just landed, redeem it first via how to redeem codes and ignore expired codes. Then come back to this table with a real number, not a hope.

Priority order: who you roll first

  1. Your highest-rarity carry. Sukuno, Yuto, Itochi, or whatever secret/mythic you actually place as the nuke. This is the only slot that deserves Ascendant or Singularity. See best units if you are unsure which name that is.
  2. Farm Golden. Bolma is the default; Senko is the cheaper early farmer. Golden on a farm unit speeds every story chapter, raid, and Infinite run. Details live on farm and support.
  3. Support Supernova. Orwin is the buffer you keep into endgame. Supernova’s range and cooldown help the aura actually land. Do not put Ascendant or Singularity on Orwin — those traits are wasted on a buffer when your carry could have them.

Everything else (Godspeed on a mid DPS, Range III on a long-path AoE, Expertion on an XP mule) waits until those three slots are settled.

Role notes that the table cannot say in one cell

Ascendant is a team-wide aura, not a farm trait. The ally buff has no range restriction; it applies across the map. The placement limit is one unit. If you roll it on Bolma, you either live with a farmer that cannot be placed next to a second Ascendant carry, or you waste the rarest trait in the game on money. Park it on the carry.

Berserker versus Slayer. Both are boss kits. Berserker wins on boss damage (+35% vs +25%) and brings cooldown. Slayer is still a keep if it lands first. For raid recipes that assume these traits, use the team builder.

Golden is not a carry trait. The +30% damage is a bonus; the +25% money is why it exists. Put it on the unit that generates cash, then let the carry wear damage traits.

Nimble beats Strong beats Range at the same roman numeral for most DPS. Cooldown multiplies hits, on-hit effects, and overkill. Strong is better on very slow, high-impact hits. Range only matters when the map is long or the unit sits in the backline.

What this planner will not do

It will not simulate a raid DPS check. It will not tell you the pity on your next spin. It will not move a trait between units. If a patch retunes drop rates, treat Discord as live and this table as a checklist. The Tools Hub explains how this page sits next to the team builder; the Guides Hub covers the click-by-click reroll path.

Spend the last token in the bank as a vote for your raid carry, not as a lottery ticket on a kid unit you will sell after the next banner. When the table says keep, walk away from Miki. When it says reroll, spend one token, not fifty, and check the role column again. That is the entire planner: a budget, an order, and the discipline to stop.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, traits, summons, and story progress.

Which unit should I reroll first?

Your highest-rarity carry, then the farm unit for Golden, then the support for Supernova. Full order is in the planner table above and in how to reroll traits.

Should I put Ascendant on Bolma?

No. Ascendant is a one-placement carry trait with a global aura. Golden belongs on Bolma or Senko. Spreading Ascendant is how raid comps fail.

Is this a live trait calculator?

No. It is a static keep-or-reroll table. Miki still spends one Magic Token per spin inside the Summon room.

Where do I compare trait ranks?

Use the traits tier list for rankings and this planner for spend order. Confirm patch changes on Discord.

Can I transfer a trait to another unit?

No. Stats can move; traits cannot. Roll the carry, the farmer, and the support as three separate banks.
