Anime Ascendants Raids, Shops, and Token Farms
Unlock the node, plant Bolma, then spend the shop before the drop.
Raids are the Magic Token faucet in live Anime Ascendants. Story unlocks them. Infinite does not replace them. Portals are a different queue. If the raid node is still grey, you are behind on chapters, not behind on a Secret. Public lobbies are still 16-player online tower defense on desktop and mobile. Teammates can cover a leak. They cannot farm your Seals, drop your Yuto, or buy the shop item for you.
This page is the raid routing sheet. Pair it with story mode for the unlock tree, how to evolve for shop-gated kits, and the Yuto guide if the UT raid is why you queued.
Unlock: rush story, then press raid
Raids sit behind early story. Rush the opening chapters even if the clears look messy. First-clear gems fund the 50-gem banner. Raid access funds Magic Tokens. Sitting in Chapter 1 to perfect Niruto Kid delays both. The Getting Started hour should already have you at Naruto, in the Summon room, and on a farm-plus-carry board. Come here when the raid node is visible.
Do not confuse raids with portals. Portals are event and content instances (Cycles of Fate, winter shops). Raids are the repeating token and drop faucet. Events tell you which raid acts are live this week. A Madoka portal does not drop Seals of Sacrifice. A Berserk act does not craft Homura.
Loadout: Bolma wave 1, Orwin, one carry
The raid board is the same triangle as story and infinite, only louder.
- Place Bolma on wave 1. Senko if Bolma is still in the index. Farmers do not need the longest line of sight.
- Place Orwin where the aura actually covers the future carry tile. Supernova if you have it. Do not put Ascendant on the buffer.
- Place one carry. Sukuno for line AoE, Yuto for named-enemy burst, Itochi for hybrid burn plus late line coverage. You do not need all three. You need one that is evolved and traited.
Extra C-tier bodies steal cash from the tree that makes raid bosses look fair. Rebuild the three-slot idea in the team builder before you ready up. Farm and support is the economy chapter if Golden is still sitting on the wrong unit.
Do not Golden Sukuno. Do not Ascendant the support. Those two mistakes show up in raid lobbies more than in story because the HP bar is a sponge and the income curve is the only reason the last upgrade exists. Lock the mapping in the trait planner before you stand at Miki.
UT raid — Yuto
The UT raid is the obtainment path for Yuto. Reported drop chance sits around 1–2%. That is a raid drop, not a story chest and not a 50-gem Secret. Farm the raid you can actually clear. Wave 1 farm still applies. The named-enemy window is why Yuto stays S+: burst that deletes a health bar, not a pad-clear hammer.
Evolution items for Yuto come from the raid shop, paid in raid currency or Love tokens depending on the live shop row. Owning the drop and skipping the shop is how people sit on an unfinished kit. Full kit notes live on the Yuto page. Compare the other S+ names on Sukuno and Itochi before you park Ascendant on a second body.
If the drop does not land after a night of clears, that is the 1–2% talking. It is not a sign you should dump gems into a banner that does not list Yuto. Codes and first-clears still fund the 50-gem lane; they do not print this unit.
Berserk / Guts raid — Seals of Sacrifice
Berserk is a raid-act event, not a lobby costume. Seals of Sacrifice are the shop currency.
| Piece | How you get it | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Guts | Banner, then Radi shop item | 250 Seals of Sacrifice for the evo piece |
| Griffith | Banner, then raid-act item | Berserk Raid Act 5 item |
| Skeleton Knight | Raid-act drop | Acts 4 and 5; not a 50-gem unit |
Skip the shop and you own a costume. The events page is the calendar; this table is the farm. Eclipse Plane language in the client still means the skeleton-knight raid with acts. Later acts pay denser. Farm the last act you can hold, not Act 1 forever.
Guts and Griffith banners during Berserk are limited. Reported Secret rates around 0.01% are why you do not spray a blueberry gem dump into that portrait unless the shop is the reason you queued. The how to summon page is the banner rule sheet.
Skeleton Knight acts 4 and 5
Skeleton Knight is a raid-act drop from Berserk Raid Acts 4 and 5. That is a different obtainment than the Guts/Griffith banner pair. You run the acts. You do not wait for a story node to print the knight. If Act 4 still leaks, the problem is usually farm timing, Orwin overlap, or an unevolved carry — not a missing fourth DPS.
Do not bring a day-one story squad into Act 5 and call the drop broken. Clear story, lock Bolma, lock a real carry, then spend Seals. The units tier list will not save a board that still starts with Niruto Kid, Goko, or Luffo.
Raid shop versus drop
Two different rewards live in the same queue.
Drops are the units and fragments that roll at the end of a clear (Yuto at 1–2%, Skeleton Knight on acts 4/5). Variance is real. A night with zero unit drops is still a night of tokens and shop currency.
Shops sell the pieces the kit actually needs: Radi item at 250 Seals, Griffith’s Act 5 item, Yuto evo rows paid in raid or Love tokens. Spend the shop first when the window is timed. You can farm another drop next session. You cannot buy an expired row.
Magic Tokens from raids fund Miki and the premium summon lane. That is the reason raids beat infinite as a token plan. Infinite is a wave-scaling DPS check. It practices the triangle. It does not replace the raid faucet. Trivia is a two-minute extra. Challenges sit next to raids as modifiers. None of those three are the raid shop.
16-player public versus solo
Public raids are still 16-player servers. Extra DPS can cover a leak. Extra bodies also steal tiles. If your carry is on Ascendant or Singularity, the first tile you confirm is the tile you live with. Preview the range. Do not drop the one-place nuke on a pocket someone else already filled.
Solo, or a quiet instance, is cleaner for macros and for learning a new act. Public is faster for raw clears if the lobby is competent. Neither mode changes drop rates in a way this wiki will invent. Play the one where your farmer actually gets planted on wave 1.
Macros are stage-specific
Do not reuse a story macro on a raid act. The official recorder binds a take to a stage. A Chapter 2 recording will reject or leak on Berserk Act 5. HP budgets differ. Paths differ. One-placement traits cannot panic-drop a second copy when the playback is late.
Record on the exact raid act you intend to farm. Farm on wave 1 in the take. Watch the first replay. Public 16-player tiles will desync a solo recording. The macros page is the recording sheet. This page is why a perfect story file still dies at the first raid shield.
Why raids beat infinite for tokens
Infinite looks like a farm because it never ends. Tokens do not care. Raids are the primary Magic Token source once story has unlocked them. Infinite is the exam you take after a real carry exists. If you need tokens for Miki or a premium pull, queue the raid. If you need to test whether Sukuno’s last upgrade holds a parade, queue infinite. Mixing those jobs is how accounts spend an evening at wave 40 with an empty token pouch.
When a limited raid is live, it outranks a standard banner and it outranks an infinite personal-best. Finish the shop. Bank the tokens. Then go back to legend stages or portals if that is the other hole.
Raids are the unlock you rushed story for: UT for Yuto, Berserk for Seals and the knight, shops for the pieces the kit actually uses. Bolma on wave 1, Orwin on the carry tile, one evolved nuke, a stage-specific macro if you record at all. That is the raid plan, and infinite is not a substitute for it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, traits, summons, and story progress.
How do I unlock raids?
Rush early story chapters until the raid node lights. That is the Magic Token faucet. Routing lives on story mode.
What loadout should I bring to a raid?
Bolma on wave 1, Orwin covering the carry tile, and one evolved carry. Lock it in the team builder before you ready.
How do I get Yuto?
Run the UT raid. Reported drop chance is about 1–2%. Evo items sit in the raid shop. Full kit notes are on the Yuto guide.
What are Seals of Sacrifice for?
Berserk raid shop currency. Guts wants the Radi piece at 250 Seals; Griffith’s piece sits on Act 5. Calendar context is on events.
Can I reuse a story macro on a raid?
No. Macros are stage-specific. Record on the exact raid act. The macros page is the recording sheet.
Should I farm Magic Tokens in Infinite instead?
No. Raids are the token faucet. Infinite is a DPS check. See infinite mode for the wave-50 exam, not for tokens.
Are portals the same as raids?
No. Portals are event instances, not story chapters and not raid acts. Use the portals guide for clock fragments and Grief Seeds.
